As a fast-growing organization, Quooker quickly came to the conclusion that the HR and payroll software no longer met the needs. To change that, they looked for a software solution that they could customize to their own liking.

In her role of HR manager, Isabel Salomons approached Nmbrs. "Quooker has grown as an organization and in order to make progress in terms of efficiency, it is necessary to bring the HR and payroll administration back in-house, so that changes and new employees can be processed in the system ourselves," Isabel says. “At Quooker we don't like too many imposed rules, that doesn't match our culture. But since we employ more than 250 people, we have to organize that well.”

Employees especially needed an employee self-service (ESS) environment, in which they can view and change their data and important actions, such as requesting leave. In addition, due to the growing workforce, the HR department had a greater need for clear reporting and efficiency. As an HR department, you mainly want to concentrate on your employees and less on processing salaries and administrative tasks. This led to the search for a new application for payroll processing and managing HR tasks.

The Nmbrs software is simple and easy to use. It basically does everything we need. That's what we notice as an HR department, but our employees experience this as well.

After an extensive market analysis by Quooker's business analyst, the HR department entered into discussions with a number of parties. After which it was decided to enter into a partnership with the HR and payroll software from Nmbrs. The solution has been tested against the following criteria:

Overview and efficiency for both employees and departments was crucial to gain control over all processes. In addition, the application must be developed based on the employee's needs. In a streamlined ESS environment, an employee can quickly and easily arrange matters such as leave registration.

Result: increased productivity and satisfaction. And finally, because the Nmbrs software is used as a source file, you as an HR department have data available more quickly. Consider reports such as leave and absence overviews and the employee employment report, which contains important data about the employment of employees. In addition, you can easily extract data from the tool to create more extensive HR reports, with tools such as Power Bi.

 

Smooth implementation

After the implementation of Nmbrs, employees no longer have to send multiple emails for an adjustment. From now on, they will implement changes directly themselves. With the reports, data is available much faster. Previously, you had to dig through various applications to collect data, while now everything is in Nmbrs.

Since the start with Nmbrs, Quooker has taken the necessary steps within HR and payroll standardization and automation. The next step: linking new HR applications to the Nmbrs platform to further increase efficiency and ease of use. And all with one goal: caring for and relieving employees.
